Frozen Shoulder
Supraspinatus
Frozen shoulder is caused by spasm of the supraspinatus muscle. There are other forms of shoulder pain caused by different muscles, but a frozen shoulder is when, with the thumb turned down, one can't freely raise the arm into abduction at all, or without pain and weakness. There are several ligaments and tendons that could have a second degree tear or worse and require surgery to repair. The majority of cases are caused by a first degree strain and spasm of the supraspinatus muscle - which can be released with the Releasology protocol for the supraspinatus muscle.
