Pelvic Pain and Pain With Sitting Relief: Pelvic Floor Nerve Decompression

Este módulo enseña a relajar los músculos del suelo pélvico, que sostienen los órganos pélvicos e influyen en la función del nervio sacro.

Paso 1

Comprender el problema

The pelvic floor is a sling of muscle that supports the pelvic organs and surrounds the pudendal nerve, the rectum, the urethra and the genitals. When these muscles fatigue into involuntary spasm they shorten, compress the pudendal nerve, reduce circulation and pull the coccyx to one side. Clients describe pelvic pain, pressure or heaviness, pain with sitting that feels like sitting on a golf ball, constipation, urinary irregularities, sexual dysfunction and a deep hip or groin tension that nothing reaches. Releasology decompresses the pelvic floor nerves by releasing the muscles compressing them, including the coccygeus, so pressure comes off the nerve and the pelvis can function normally again.

What this release relieves

  • Pelvic pain and chronic unexplained pelvic discomfort. When scans are clear and the pain persists, the pelvic floor muscles in spasm are the usual source.
  • Pain with sitting and the sitting-on-a-golf-ball feeling. Sitting loads the very muscles compressing the pudendal nerve. When they release, sitting stops being the trigger.
  • Pudendal nerve pain and pelvic pressure or heaviness. The pudendal nerve passes through the pelvic floor. Burning, aching or heaviness along its path is that nerve under muscular compression.
  • Constipation and urinary irregularities. The rectum and urethra pass through this sling. A pelvic floor in spasm distorts both; releasing it restores normal function.
  • Sexual dysfunction and pain with intercourse. Genital sensation and function depend on the pudendal nerve and on circulation through the pelvic floor; both return as the compression releases.
  • Tailbone pain and deep hip or groin tension. The coccygeus pulls the coccyx to one side and holds it there; releasing it lets the tailbone return to centre and the deep tension go.

Frequently asked questions

Is the release done internally?

It is precise hands-on work at the pelvic floor muscles and their attachments around the pelvis and coccyx. Royal explains exactly what the session involves before it begins.

I have been told my pelvic floor is weak. Is this the opposite?

A pelvic floor that is in constant spasm tests weak because it cannot contract further, and strengthening it makes it worse. Releasing the spasm first is what lets it work again.

Can this help pudendal neuralgia?

When the pudendal nerve is being compressed by the pelvic floor muscles, releasing them takes the pressure off, and clients describe the burning and sitting pain easing. Nerve conditions with other causes should be evaluated by a physician.

  • molestias al sentarse

  • disfunción sexual

  • irregularidades urinarias

  • tensión profunda en la cadera o la ingle

Un patrón clave:

👉 Los síntomas suelen ser vagos, difusos y persistentes.

Y con frecuencia:

👉 Los tratamientos tradicionales no logran resolverlos
