The cranial bones become compressed, and the circumference of the cranium is reduced, when the muscles that span the crown chakra, AKA, top of the head, are in spasm. This area is referred to as a Chakra because it is a convergence of every muscle in the area. The brain is encased within this area and when it is tight, it can affect the functions of the brain. Release it and people always feel smarter!
